Hi, I'm Joyice!

I teach Black-interest classes, prepare families for school transition, and support young adults & women in relationship readiness.

I design content, develop courses, and teach classes for Black students to instill cultural awareness and pride in learning.

I prepare students and their families for school transition between home, public, or higher education. I also support young adults and women in relationship readiness. I teach the foundations in selfhood to build relationship, partnership, and community. Meet Joyice

In a nutshell, I describe myself as a spunky personality with a sense of purpose and fierce dedication to help others in their school and selfhood journeys.

I am known for cultivating “light-bulb” connections where students engage in an original way and independent way. I also specialize in preparing young adults and women in relationship readiness with safe and effective communication skills. I am savvy in asking the right questions and building the necessary foundation to assist clients in crossing over from where they are to where they want to be.

Throughout my career, I have held various academic roles from graduation counseling, student advising, and curriculum development. I have also studied the developmental psychology that underpins the relating process.
